CHATTANOOGA --- The Tennessee State Tigerbelle cross-country team posted a solid fourth place finish in the UTC Invitational Cross Country, which featured powers from the Southeastern and Southern Conferences over the weekend. TSU had a final team score of 118. Tennessee won the event with a score of 23 following by host UTC's 37. Vanderbilt was third with a 97. Monique Demmons was the Tigerbelles top finishers with a 13th place finish. She covered the two-mile course with a time of 12:37. Crystal Ewell and Juniata Thomas finished 22nd and 23rd, respectively, with times of 13:24 and 13:25. Rae'ven Thomas was 26th with a time of 13:42 and Kirsten Bennett closed out the scoring with a finish of 34th and a time of 14:14. Trailing the Tigerbelles were the University of the South, Tennessee Tech, Middle Tennessee, and Fisk. ###
