NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State men's track team is looking forward to the fourth Edward S. Temple Classic which will be held at the Gentry Center Complex this coming Sunday (Jan. 12). ?Every year we have made improvements with the quality of athletes and the quality of work,? said TSU coach Kelly Carter, who is in his third season at the helm. ?We need the experience and mentally need to understand want it takes to the compete at the NCAA level.? A highlight for the Tigers will be the participation of true freshman Ryan Fann. Fann, lost a foot in an early childhood accident and competed in on the high school football team in his hometown of Carthage. He will compete in the 200 and 400 meters. The meet will begin at 8 a.m. There is no charge to the classic.
