TSU Tennis Falls to Graceland

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee State men's and women's tennis fell 6-1 to Graceland University on Friday.

Both of TSU's men's and women's team only consisted of four players. Each team played two doubles matches and four singles matches.

The lone win for the men came at #1 Singles where Daniel Bernal defeated Rodolfo Sanchez in straight sets 6-3, 6-4. Bernal teamed with Branden McClain in #1 Doubles putting up a good fight before dropping the 8-5 decision to Juan Jose Mateus and Raul Mendez.

On the women's side, Kryston Mason notched her first victory of the season, a 6-0, 6-4 win over Heidi Meyer.

The men travel to Tennessee Tech on Saturday before joining the women when they return to the court on Sunday when they take on OVC foe Jacksonville State on the road.
