Tigers in OVC Action versus Eastern Kentucky, 

Rescheduled Match Against Jacksonville State Set 

Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee State University men's tennis team will host Eastern Kentucky in OVC play on March 29th in Nashville, Tenn. at 10 a.m. The Tigers are 0-5 overall and 0-4 in Ohio Valley Conference play.

The men's team is 3-26 in singles competiton, 1-12 in doubles' play, and are led by Justin Hamm (1-4), Aaron Fields, (1-4) and Michael Mosley (1-4) who have posted the only wins this season.

The last time the Tigers were in action back on March 20th, they suffered a loss to Western Kentucky, 7-0.  

Eastern Kentucky is 10-8 overall with a 1-0 OVC record while posting 2-6 on the road. The Colonels are fresh off a 6-1 win against Eastern Illinois (3/21) and are riding a two-match win streak. Alex Dasizquierdo leads EKU with a 16-12 record and is one-half of a 5-1 doubles combination with Niklas Schroeder.

In singles play EKU has won 49 percent (69-71) of their matches while piecing a 23-36 (.390) doubles record.

The Tigers will take on Jacksonville State in Jacksonville, Ala. on Tuesday, March 31st, start time is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. The match is a make-up after the original scheduled meeting was postponed on Friday, March 27th.
