MEMPHIS, Tenn. --- The Tennessee State men’s golf team closed out the Memphis Intercollegiate with a 17-over, 311, during the final round. The Tigers finished 13th after combining for a 62-over, 926 (311-304-311).

Senior Jermey Fultz carded four birdies on the day to shoot an Even, 72. Fultz tied junior Rosario Falzone in the final standings with a 15-over, 231. The duo were joined by John Tyminski (79) and Scotty Hudson (80) in scoring for TSU during the final round.

UT Martin's Hunter Richardson claimed top honors shooting a 6-under, 210, for the tournament. The team title came down to the final hole of the two day event, as Middle Tennessee (868) edged out Arkansas State (869) by one stroke.

Jermey Fultz (Started on Hole 10)

  • Carded four birdies to shoot Even during final round
  • Started 2-over through the first eight holes until his first birdie of the day
  • Hit wedge from 100 feet to seven feet of the hole on the par-5, 18th
  • Went back-to-back birdies after hitting a wedge from 74 yards to eight feet on the par-5, 1st
  • Recorded four pars before losing a stroke on No. 6
  • Picked the stroke back up with a five foot putt on the par-5, 7th
  • Registered a birdie on the final hole of the day as he knocked a wedge from 132 yards to a foot of the pin

Scotty Hudson (Hole 10)

  • Recorded three pars through the first nine holes
  • Earned lone birdie of the day on the par-5, 9th

John Tyminski (Hole 10)

  • Led the Tigers with six birdies on the day
  • The six birdies matched Colin Dubnik of Memphis for the most on Tuesday
  • Birdied holes 12, 15, 18, 2, 3 and 6

Kody Rendleman (Hole 10)

  • Earned the highest amount of pars for the Tigers on day two with 12
  • Finished 10th in pars for the tournament with 37
  • Pared seven of the last eight holes

Rosario Falzone (Hole 10)

  • Notched four pars over the back nine
  • Lone birdie of round three came on the par-5, 1st

Up Next: The Tigers will take a couple weeks off before returning to action at the Skyhawk Fall Classic hosted by UT Martin. Thge two day event begins on Oct. 2 at the Paris Landing State Park in Buchanan, Tenn.
