NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee State closed out the regular season with a fourth place finish at their own Big Blue Invitational at the Hermitage Golf Course. The Tigers shot a 9-over, 297, during the final round to finish at 16-over, 592.

On Tuesday, Fultz found success with his wedge as he hit to within three feet of the hole from 60 yards on par-4, 4th, and from 102 yards out on the par-4, 5th, to notch birdies. He continued his strong play with another 1-under on the par-5, 8th, where he got up-and-down.

The sophomore chipped in on the par-3, 12th, from 25 feet, then proceeded to birdie 15 from 20 feet as he hit a 7-iron from 147 into the wind.

Gatlin finished the BBI with the second most birdies, nine, of all golfers and was second best in play of all par-4’s with play at 4-under.
