ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Tennessee State golf team posted a 10th place finish among a field of 20 schools in Winthrop University's Mission Inn Collegiate Classic held over the weekend. The Tigers shot a 54-hole total of 901 in the competitive field. Host Winthrop shot an 869 to win the event played on the par-71, 6,814-yard Howie In The Hills course. TSU was led by senior Robert Dinwiddie who finished in a sixth place tie with a 214. Dinwiddie fired a 69 in the final round, the second best score on the final day to post another top 10 finish in his career. Phillips Watkins shot a 222 to finish in a tie for 23rd place. Other Tiger scores were Lawrence Larson 231, Jordan Roberts 239, and Matthew Buley 243.
