NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State University junior Robert Dinwiddie has been named National College Golfer of the Week as selected by Golfweek Magazine. It marks the first time that a TSU golfer has received the honor. Dinwiddie received the award for being medalist and leading the Tigers to the team title in the First Annual Samford Intercollegiate Invitational last week. Dinwiddie rolled to the individual win, shooting a 45-hole total of 171. Dinwiddie set a course record with an 8-under par 64 on the Farm Links Course. Golfweek honors collegiate golfers through the season. Dinwiddie is the third student-athlete to receive the award this spring, joining Jason Hartwick from the University of Texas and Spencer Levine from the University of New Mexico. The Tigers will return to action later this month for their second event of the spring schedule.
