Mosley Posts Top 20 Time at Austin Peay Cross Country Festival

NASHVILLE – Junior Flying Tiger Thomas Mosley finished top 20 at Saturday’s Austin Peay Cross Country Festival. The Illinois native crossed the 5K finish line in 18:40.14 - a personal best, placing 17th overall.

Among Division I opponents, the men’s cross country team finished third with 115 points.

Five of the seven Flying Tigers, Mosley, John Frierson (16:51.17), Jacob Miller (17:21.50), Jaedon Jones (18:11.22) and Quinsontro Irby, Jr. (19:03.98) ran the top times of their career in the 5K on the Eastland Green South Nine course.

The team completes its regular season in Owensboro, Kentucky, at the Fast Cats Classic Oct. 12 at Yellow Creek Park.
