Evan Joyner Serves as Latest Addition to Men's Basketball Roster

NASHVILLE --- Head coach Brian "Penny" Collins announced late Wednesday the addition of Evan Joyner (Greensboro, NC) to the Tennessee State men's basketball 2020-21 roster.

"Evan Joyner is going to be one of the most special players to come through Tennessee State," said Collins. "He is an intelligent young man who comes from a great pedigree. His father, Jay Joyner, is a long-time college basketball coach who appeared in the NCAA tournament as a former player and as a coach."

"Evan is going to add a lot to our team. He's long. He's athletic. He has a high basketball IQ. He won state championships in high school and is coming in with a 3.9 GPA. I'm excited to coach a guy like him."
