Tigers and Thundering Herd Match-up in First Meeting 

Nashville, Tenn. - The Tigers (3-7) will hit the road to play the Thundering Herd of Marshall in the Cam Henderson Center on December 28th. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The game marks the first meeting on the hardwood for both teams.

TSU will look for some consistency in their shooting behind team leading scorer Gerald Robinson, Jr. Robinson is averaging 19 points, four assists, and five rebounds per game which includes a 16 point average on the month.

The Tigers are 1-5 one the road posting the same record in December. To snap their three-game skid, the front court of Darius Cox (12.5 ppg), Jerrell Houston (14.0 ppg) and Stephen Evans (8.3 ppg) will have to tally big numbers. The trio combines for nearly 37 points and 22 rebounds per game and have posted double digits once which resulted in the Tigers' only road win against Southeast Missouri.

Marshall (6-5) is coming off a loss against Dayton (OH) and is led by Chris Lutz (11.3 ppg). 

TSU will close out 2008 against Georgia Tech. The game is scheduled for Dec. 30th. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
