Tigers Continue Road Swing Against Eastern Kentucky

Morehead, Ky. - Tennessee State University men's basketball team will finish their two-game conference road swing making the last stop in Richmond, Ky. to face the Colonels of Eastern Kentucky. TSU is 1-10 away from the confines of the Gentry Center.
 
The Tigers (6-14, 4-6 OVC) are on a three-game skid and will look to bounce back from a 94-73 loss to Morehead State, Thursday night in Johnson Arena. The Tigers won their previous meeting against the Colonels (12-9, 5-5 OVC) on January 3rd, 69-63, at home in the Gentry Center.
 
Gerald Robinson, Jr. (18.1 ppg) and Jerrell Houston (13.0 ppg) lead the Tigers in scoring and posted double digits against EKU earlier this month (Houston - 18, Robinson - 10).
 
The series record between the teams is knotted-up at 21 with TSU winning the last two match-ups.
 
The Colonels defeated the number one team in the OVC, Austin Peay State, Thursday night, 73-70, in overtime and are led by Mike Rose's 20 points per game. EKU are 7-2 on their home court this season.

Next, the Tigers will host Murray State on February 4th inside the Gentry Center.Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
