Tiger Prepare to Bounce Back Against Murray State

Nashville, Tenn. - The Tigers (6-15, 4-7 OVC) will look to snap a three-game skid after suffering heartbreaking losses to Morehead State and Eastern Kentucky on the road hosting Murray State.

In the first meeting this season, a turnover with seconds left proved costly for TSU, losing 75-71 to the Racers at the Regional Special Events Center in Murray, Ky.

TSU will look to jump start things behind leading scorer Gerald Robinson, Jr. (17.4 ppg) who is coming off a season-low five points versus Eastern Kentucky. Jerrell Houston comes in averaging 13.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game with Darius Cox posting 9.7 ppg and team leading 7.1 rpg.

Murray State owns the series history, 37-15, and have won their last two games including four of their last six. Denero Thomas and Issac Miles lead the Racers in scoring with Thomas averaging 11.3 ppg and Miles posting 10.1 ppg.

Next, TSU will host UT Martin for another double-header OVC clash on Saturday, February 7th. The women are scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.
