Same knee injury that sidelined 2005-06 season happened during a pick-up game in September. Tennessee State University junior point guard Bruce Price has re-injured his left knee and indications are he will not be available for the 2006-07 basketball season. "Bruce re-injured his left knee during a pick-up game this summer in Minneapolis (MN)." said TSU head basketball coach Cy Alexander. "It is the same injury (ACL) that sidelined him last year." "I am disappointed for Bruce, he had worked so hard to get back into shape," stated Alexander. "But, we won't let the team use his injury as a crutch." "We intend to dedicate our season to him." Price averaged 19.3 points and 5.8 assists in just six games last season before getting hurt in a game against Ohio State on December 23, 2005.
