NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State University will be the featured location for the Black Family Channel's "Sports Desk" program with the first airing set for Friday (Jan. 20) at 9 p.m. (CST). The Black Family Channel is available on Comcast Digital Channel 135 in the Nashville area. TSU is the site for this week's program which is hosted by former Howard University standout quarterback Jay Walker who later played with the Minnesota Vikings and the New England Patriots. The show will feature an in-depth interview with TSU men's basketball coach Cy Alexander in the Gentry Center, photos from various location on the TSU campus, as well as other stories from HBCU colleges. Along with the Friday night premier, the 30-minute program will be replayed at 12:30 a.m. Saturday and against at 2 p.m. Saturday.
