COSTA RICA --- The Tennessee State opened its two-game trip to Costa Rica with a come back victory, defeating the National Team of Barbados, 67-61 late Friday night. Guard Reiley Ervin, a rising sophomore, led the rally, scoring 17 of his 27 points in the final half. The Tigers had trailed much of the game, but came back to slip past the Barbados team down the stretch. The physical contest also had Tiger guard Wayne Arnold in double figures with 12 points. Other Tiger scorers were Andrae Belton and Bruce Price with eight points each while forwards Courtney Bohannon and Eric King each tallied six points. The teams are set to meet again on Saturday as TSU wraps up the brief trip.
