NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State opened its men's exhibition basketball season with an 86-70 win over Sports Reach Friday night as four players tallied in double figures. Freshman guard Bruce Price led the Tigers with 29 points and handed out six assists in his first game. Price was 10-of-18 from the field and connected on 5-of-9 3-point field goals. Adrian Pritchett scored 14 points while Garrett Richardson added 12 and led TSU with seven rebounds and seven assists. Center Cedric Bryson added 11 for the Tigers. TSU led 44-38 and opened up as much as a 23-point lead on three occasions in the second half. Tennessee State finished 31-69 from the floor for 45 percent. The victory avenged an exhibition loss to the Crusaders last season. Sports Reach was led by former Murray State player Ray Cunningham who had 17 points and 13 rebounds.
