NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State fell victim to visiting Tennessee-Martin's balanced scoring attack as the Tigers dropped a 95-75 Ohio Valley Conference contest to the Skyhawks Thursday night in the Gentry Center. The Tigers dug themselves an early hole, trailing 46-26 at halftime. TSU played the visitors even, scoring 49 points as the Tigers shot 51 percent from the floor in the final 20 minutes. TSU sophomore Roshaun Bowens tied for game-high scoring honors with 26 points. Garrett Richardson had a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists and senior forward Willie Hendricks came off the bench to score 13 points. UT Martin placed five players in double digits, led by junior J.C. Howe's 26 points. TSU will return to action at Eastern Kentucky Monday night.
