NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State ran into the Ohio Valley Conference's hottest team Tuesday night as the Austin Peay Governors came into the Gentry Center to take an 82-57 victory Tuesday night. The game was rescheduled from an earlier postponement. The Govs notched their sixth straight win to improve to 14-6 overall and 7-2 in conference play. The Tigers fall to 2-18 and 0-9. Josh Cooperwood led TSU with 20 points while Garrett Richardson added 17 points and had seven steals to improve on his OVC-leading average. APSU shot 61.5 percent from the field. Anthony Davis led the Govs with 20 points while Adrian Henning added 19. TSU hosts Tennessee-Martin Thursday night.
