Started the first four games of the season at quarterback before suffering a season ending injury… completed 61 of 101 passes for 888 yards and eight touchdowns with two interceptions… added 146 yards on the ground on 38 carries… earned OVC Newcomer of the Week honors with a 14-of-20 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns, along with an eight carry 56 yard performance at Eastern Illinois (9/22)… helped erase a 24-3 deficit with a pair of scoring passes in the second half against the Panthers… completed 8-of-14 for 154 yards and added 14 yards on the ground against Bethune-Cookman (9/1)… went 22-of-31 for 269 yards and a season high three touchdowns, while adding 56 rushing yards at Vanderbilt (9/29)… matched season high three touchdowns while tallying 269 yards during a 17-for-36 outing and rushed for 35 yards at Austin Peay (10/6)
