Played in 11 games, starting in six after transferring from Clemson just prior to the start of the season… Started at both left guard and left tackle… Anchored a unit that did not allow a sack during the last four ballgames… Helped protect a quarterback duo that threw for 3,268 yards and 23 touchdowns… Led the unit to a No. 18 ranking in FCS, giving up only 1.17 sacks per game

2013 Season - at Clemson
Had eight knockdowns in 503 snaps over 10 games (three starts)... Played 43 snaps against SC State on Sept. 7... Played 43 snaps at NC State on Sept. 19... Played 61 snaps against Wake Forest on Sept. 28... Had one knockdown in 66 snaps at Syracuse on Oct. 5... Had one knockdown in 78 snaps against Boston College on Oct. 12... Played 58 snaps against No. 5 Florida State on Oct. 19... Played 34 snaps at Maryland on Oct. 26... Had two knockdowns in 51 snaps at Virginia on Nov. 2... Had four knockdowns in 123 snaps over seven games (two starts)... Had one knockdown in one snap in his first career game against No. 25 Auburn at Atlanta, Ga. on Sept. 1... First-team all-state offensive lineman who played in the Shrine Bowl... All-region and all-county selection at Wren High School... No. 27 player in the nation and No. 7 player in South Carolina by Among the top-20 players in South Carolina by SuperPrep... U.S. Army All-America nominee... Wren High School Hall of Fame member... Had an average grade of 92 percent from his coaches, which helped Wren High to an average of nearly 30 points per game... Named team offensive lineman-of-the-year... Anderson Area Touchdown Club Lineman-of-the-Week selection... All-state selection and team captain as a senior... All-region and all-county as a junior and senior... Attended Under Armour All-American Combine in 2009... Helped his team to the region title... Received Anderson County Diversity Award... Offensive player-of-the-week by Anderson Touchdown Club...
