2016 - Redshirt Sophomore Season
Started the first three games of the season at quarterback… Had thrown for 598 yards completing 35-of-57 with five touchdowns and two interceptions; also rushed for a touchdown… Suffered a season ending injury in the second quarter at Bethune-Cookman (9/17) after completing three of seven passes including a 71 yard touchdown strike to Steven Newbold, also rushed for 22 yards on five carries… Was ranked third nationally in passing yards/completion (17.09) and sixth in passing efficien­cy (171.5) at time of injury… Was named Offensive Player of the Game for the John Merritt Classic after throwing for 259 yards and two scoring passes, while completing 18-of-32 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (9/3); He presented the award to Ronald Butler for scoring two touchdowns (one receiving, one rushing)… Honored as Player of the Game at the Southern Heritage Classic versus Jackson State (9/10), before presenting center Thomas Burton with the award… Finished SHC completing 14-of-18 for 227 yards and two touchdowns

2015 - Redshirt Freshman Season
Led the team in all passing categories after starting and playing in seven games… was named to the All-Ohio Valley Conference All-Newcomer team after throwing for 1,279 yards and 11 touchdowns, while completing 110-of-190 pass attempts; tossing only five interceptions… finished 20-of-37 for 188 yards and a touchdown along with 38 yards rushing versus Alabama State (9/6) during the John Merritt Classic…  was named Player of the Game and OVC Newcomer of the Week for his performance at the JMC… set career highs in completions (23), yards (329), touchdowns (4) and longest play (87 yards) against Murray State (11/7)… threw for 221 yards and a touchdown, while completing 22-of-40 passes with an interception at Tennessee Tech (11/21)… tossed for three scoring plays, completing 15 passes in 26 attempts for 250 yards versus Jackson State at the Southern Heritage Classic (9/12)

2014 - Freshman Season

Spent one season at Georgia Prep Sports Academy in 2013… Played two years for Trinity Christian HS in Jacksonville, Fla… Threw for 2,607 yards during his junior and senior campaigns… Completed 58.1 percent of his passes … Tossed 36 touchdowns and only 14 interceptions in 2011 and 2012… Had a 22 to 4 touchdown to interception ratio as a senior… Carried the ball 120 times in his career for 415 yards and seven scores… Punted 49 times, averaging 37.4 yards per boot… Had a long of 74 yards and nine punts were downed inside the 20-yard line… Received offers from Georgia State, Florida A&M, Florida International, Rice and UCF… Rated a two-star prospect by…
