Tigers in the NFL: Week 8

Tennessee State football sports four former Tigers with National Football League teams during week eight.

Terrell Bonds recorded his first career tackle on the opening kickoff of the Baltimore Ravens 28-24 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bonds finished with three total tackles, two on defense.

Anthony Levine had his Ravens consecutive game streak snapped, fifth best in team history, two weeks ago due to injury. Levine was able to return to the playing field in week eight.

Chris Rowland (Atlanta Falcons) and Lachavious Simmons (Chicago Bears) are on the practice squads for their respected teams.

Rowland has been protected by the Falcons through the first eight weeks.

For the first time, NFL teams can protect four players per week from their practice squads to prevent them from being claimed and signed by other teams.
