Tigers in the NFL: Week 3

Tennessee State football sports four former Tigers with National Football League teams during week three.

Week three marks the NFL debut for cornerback Terrell Bonds. The former Tiger will join Anthony Levine Sr. on the active roster for the Baltimore Ravens.

Chris Rowland (Atlanta Falcons) and Lachavious Simmons (Chicago Bears) are on the practice squads for their respected teams.

Rowland was protected by the Falcons for the third consecutive week.

For the first time, NFL teams can protect four players per week from their practice squads to prevent them from being claimed and signed by other teams.

Week 3:
Terrell Bonds – CB/ST
Baltimore Ravens
- Bonds played mainly on special teams.

Anthony Levine Sr. – SS/LB/ST
Baltimore Ravens
- Levine played mainly on special teams.
- Provided two key blocks on Devin Duvernay’s 93-yard kick return for touchdown in the second quarter.

Chris Rowland – WR/RS
Atlanta Falcons
- On Practice Squad
- Protected for third consecutive week

Lachavious Simmons – OL
Chicago Bears
- On Practice Squad
