Dunker, Clark Named AP All-Americans

NASHVILLE --- Two Tennessee State athletes were named to the 2016 Associated Press All-American team, as announced on Thursday. Senior offensive lineman Jessamen Dunker was named to the First Team, while junior kicker Lane Clark was honored as a Second Team selection.

Dunker played in 11 games, starting 10, at left tackle for the Tigers and was named First Team All-Ohio Valley Conference after anchoring the line for the top scoring team in the OVC, averaging 32.3 points per game. This is the third All-American team for the Boynton Beach, Fla. product this season.

Clark experienced a breakout season for TSU as he made the offense a scoring threat every time they crossed midfield. The Hays, Kan. native kicked nine field goals ranging from 44 to 57 yards. Clark cemented himself in the TSU record book as he registered the top three longest kicks, as well as they fifth, in school history.
