Aristocrat of Bands Plays at HOF Parade

CANTON, Ohio – The Aristocrat of Bands entertained tens of thousands of fans in the 2014 Pro Football Hall of Fame Parade to kick off Saturday’s activities.

Sandwiched in the middle of 109 floats and performances, AOB stopped its march once it reached the Big Blue faithful to play “I’m So Glad” to the excitement of the entire crowd. Director Reginald McDonald was all-smiles in greeting the spectators and at the sound of his group.

Enshrinee Claude Humphrey followed the band and was just one of many Pro Football Hall of Famers to take part in the parade. Among those, former Director of Athletics Gale Sayers got out of his car to personally meet the TSU fans.

After the parade, the Big Blue Crew visited the Hall of Fame to view the Humphrey exhibit and the bust of Richard Dent, who was enshrined in 2011.

Humphrey will be officially enshrined at approximately 5 p.m. CT and an Atlanta Falcons after-party will wrap up Saturday’s events.
