Tiger Camp: 95 Student-Athletes Report on Sunday

Nashville, Tenn. – Coach Rod Reed and the Tennessee State Tigers officially opened camp on Sunday.

Approximately 95 student-athletes showed up Sunday to partake in educational meetings, receive equipment and take the annual team photo.

“Today was a good first day to get a lot of the non-football items out of the way,” said Reed. “We are now focused on getting ready for our first practice tomorrow. Our coaching staff is excited and I know our young men are chomping at the bit.”

Practice officially begins on Monday morning when the Tigers hit the gridiron at 9:15am. TSU will practice outside at Hale Stadium, weather permitting. Otherwise, it will be held at the indoor facility. The first two weeks of camp are open to the public.
