Tennessee State climbs HBCU Football Polls

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The 3-0 start for the Tennessee State football team has resulted in the Tigers climbing towards the top of the HBCU national polls.

TSU is ranked second in the Heritage Sports Radio Network Black College Football FCS Poll with 127 points and are third with 202 points in the Sheridan Broadcasting Poll. The Tigers are receiving three first place votes in each poll.

In the Boxtorow Coaches Poll, TSU is second with 136 points and five first place votes. In their media poll, the Tigers find themselves tied for third with Winston
-Salem State with 121 points.

The Boxtorow media poll is administered by FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW. The poll is voted on by media members around the country who cover HBCU football. Their coaches' poll is voted on by the HBCU Football Championship Subdivision coaches..

The Tigers opponent this Saturday, Bethune-Cookman, is ranked number one in each of the three polls.
