REPLAY: Rod Reed to make first 2011 radio appearance

Nashville, Tenn. - Tennessee State University fans can catch a preview of Tiger Football for the upcoming season from head coach Rod Reed when he joins the staff on Sports Radio WNSR 560 AM.

Reed is scheduled to make an appearance on the Morning Sports Page on Thursday, July 28, at 7:25 a.m.

Last year, Coach Reed appeared on the Morning Sports Page hosted by Greg Pogue and David Coleman in late July before joining the show's weekly discussions through the season in September.

In 2010, his guest appearance on 560 AM was his first on a Nashville radio show in his first year at the Tigers' helm. REPLAY...

Since then, Reed has made several appearances on some of Nashville's top sports talk radio shows.

The Morning Sports Page is the best local area sports talk radio show in Nashville with two of middle Tennessee's top sports gurus. Greg Pogue is the Daily News Journal's Sports Editor and is a familiar television and radio host. David Coleman is a well-known sports voice bringing a fresh addition to the show along with his shaker of spice to keep things hot.

The Tigers will open the 2011 season when they host Southern in the 13th Annual John Merritt Classic. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. on Sept. 3, at LP Field.
