NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State University head football coach James Reese and his staff will welcome 90 student-athletes to campus on Wednesday, August 11, to begin preparation for the 2004 season. The players are scheduled to report by 4 p.m. for a team meeting. The first team practice is set for 7 p.m., Thursday. "We are ready to have the players in here and start our practices," said Reese, who begins his fifth season as his alma mater's head coach. "We are looking forward to seeing our new players on the field and our veterans as well." The first two-a-day session will be on Tuesday, August 17. Picture Day will be held Saturday, August 21 at 11 a.m. TSU opens the 2004 season by hosting Alabama A&M in the sixth John Merritt Classic, Sept. 4 in the Coliseum. ###
