NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State football players, twins Gerald and Jarrett Morrow, have been named Ohio Valley Conference Co-Special Teams Players of the Week for their play in the Big Blue's 44-14 win over Jackson State in the Southern Heritage Classic. The redshirt freshmen played big roles in the Tigers' victory. Gerald had three kickoff returns totaling 97 yards with a long return of 50 yards. Jarrett had a 67-yard punt return for a TD to close out TSU's scoring late in the fourth quarter. The twins returned to their hometown of Memphis for their first appearance as collegiate players. The twins were standout prep performers at Melrose High School where they were members of one state championship team. The OVC honors special teams, defensive, offensive, and newcomers of the week each week during the season. The Morrows joined running back Charles Anthony who was received the offensive honors the first week of the season. ###
