Day One of Bulls Invitational in the Books for Tigerbelles

DAY ONE RESULTS

TAMPA, Fla. – With a majority of the action set for tomorrow, the Tennessee State women’s track and field team opened the 2016 outdoor campaign with the first day of the Bulls Invitational on Thursday hosted by the University of South Florida.

In the long jump, Gabrielle Younginer (McDonough, Ga.) earned third place with a distance of 5.57m (18’3.25”) on her second jump. Brejhe Halls (Atlanta, Ga.) and Amber Townsend (Atlanta, Ga.) placed sixth and seventh, respectively, in the long jump. Hall put up a distance of 5.47m (17’11.5”) while Townsend reached a career outdoor best of 5.41m (17’9”).

Daimer Gordon (Ellenwood, Ga.) placed 10th in the hammer throw with a distance of 45.22m (148’4”).

Competing in the javelin, Clairwin Dameus (Boynton Beach, Fla.) came up with a toss of 34.24m (112’4”).

Action concludes tomorrow.
