BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The TSU women’s track and field team wrapped up competition at the Gladstein Invitational on Saturday with some standout performances.
After qualifying for the finals of the 60m hurdles with their performances in Friday’s prelims, Amber Hughes (Atlanta, Ga.) and Crystal Williams (Gainesville, Fla.) turned in solid performances on Saturday. Hughes finished fifth in the finals in 8.70, and Williams picked up a seventh-place finish in 8.74.
Freshman Mikayla Banks (Houston, Texas) turned in a time of 25.59 in the 200m to secure eighth place on the day.
Also on the track, Christian Pryor (Detroit, Mich.) clocked in at 2:18.72 in the 800m.
Next up for the Tigerbelles is a trip to Murfreesboro, Tenn. for the MTSU Invitational on Feb. 6.
