MURFREESBORO, Tenn. --- On day two of the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals hosted by MTSU at the Adams Tennis Complex, the Tiger women’s tennis team had a single victory.
Pragati Natraj defeated Anna Collins of Louisville, 7-5, 6-2 before falling to Fabienne Schmidt of Austin Peay, 6-1, 6-3 in the round of 16.
Aarushi Kakkar, the first woman in program history to win a main draw singles match at the ITA Regionals, fell to Amanda Meyer of Vanderbilt, 6-0, 6-1.
This completes the fall season for women's tennis. The Tigers resume play Feb. 2 against Rhodes.
