OPENING SERVE: Tennessee State will play its final three road matches of the season at Austin Peay (April 8), at Murray State (April 9) and at Alabama A&M (April 10).  

LAST TIME OUT:  TSU was handed a 4-0 loss at EIU on Saturday, April 2. The Tigers lost the doubles point, and the Panthers picked up three singles victories to win the match.

ABOUT AUSTIN PEAY: After winning just one non-conference match, Austin Peay is 3-4 in OVC matches and is coming off a 4-3 home win over Murray State on April 5. The top of the ASPU lineup is headlined by sisters Lidia Yanes Garcia (10-3 at No. 1) and Claudi Yanes Garcia (10-2 at No. 2).

ABOUT MURRAY STATE: The Racers are 4-2 at home this season and 8-9 overall. Losing three of their last four, Murray State carries a 3-4 OVC record with wins over SEMO, EIU and Morehead State.

ABOUT ALABAMA A&M: The Bulldogs have gone 3-11 on the season, most recently defeating Grambling State, 4-2, on April 1. Sophomore Virag Hollos has compiled a team-best eight singles wins.

OVC PLAYOFF PICTURE: TSU is 1-5 in the OVC, which is good for ninth place out of 11 schools. With three OVC matches remaining, the Tigers are still alive for a spot in the OVC Tournament, which features the top six teams in the league.  

OVC PRESEASON POLL: SIUE received four first-place votes to take the top spot in the OVC preseason poll. Murray State and EKU were picked 2-3, also picking up first-place votes. UT Martin, Eastern Illinois and Morehead State rounded out the top six vote getters. The rest of the poll concluded with Austin Peay, Jacksonville State, Belmont, Southeast Missouri and Tennessee State.
