Tigers Prep Against Alabama A&M 

Nashville, Tenn. - Tennessee State University women's tennis team match against Jacksonville State will be rescheduled for Tuesday (3/31) at 12:30 p.m. has been postponed again due to inclement weather in Jacksonville, Ala. JSU and TSU will make up the match on Friday, April 10 at 1:30 p.m. in Nashville, Tenn.

The Tigers will host Alabama A&M on Wednesday (4/2) in non conference action at 2 p.m. TSU will look to avenge their season opening a 5-2 loss to the Bulldogs back on March 8. 

TSU women's tennis posts a 0-6 overall record, 0-4 in Ohio Valley Conference matches.

For the women, the Tigers will look to number one seed Megan Haynes and number two player Penelope Johnson to start things off. As a team, TSU is 2-34 in singles play and are winless in doubles competiton at 0-14. Dania Lofton (1-5) carries the only win in singles competition for the Tigers.

As for the AAMU women, the Bulldogs are 7-8 overall with a 3-3 road record. They have won two of their last three matches including a 7-0 rout over Alabama State (3/30). 

The Tigers will jump back into OVC action when they host Eastern Illinois on Saturday, April 4, with start time scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
