Freshman Carson Racich

- On first collegiate round
“It was a lot of fun, I enjoyed it a lot. There was a lot of pressure, but my day was capped off when my mom surprised me by driving over 11 hours to watch me play.”

- On Monday's round
“Just based on pins tomorrow on some holes, I'm going to lay-up and chip it close, instead of trying to go for the pins, like I did today.”

Junior Paige Harlin
- On the course
“It's a tough course, with tight fairways and quick greens. We just need to stay positive and keep grinding.”

Sophomore Morgan Rood
-On opening round
“Today's round showed me a lot about my game. This course was easily the hardest course that I've played.”

- On adjustments for round two
“I need to have more confidence with my irons and need to make better contact so I can two putt.”
