Day Two in the Books at Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State women’s golf team remained in 12th place after the second round of the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee Tech.

The Tigers shot an 85-over, 369, on day two of the three day event.

Kelley Merkel matched her score from day one with a 14-over, 86, combining for a 28-over, 172. Merkel is tied for 46th heading into the final round.

Natalie Spicer and Sarah Needleman each carded a 17-over, 89 on Monday. Paige Harlin recorded the final scoring round for the Tigers with a 105.

Imani Stingley was a stroke out of scoring for the Tigers with a 106.

The final round will begin with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning at the Sevierville Golf Club’s Highlands Course.
