NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee State women’s golf team returns to action as they take part in the Chris Banister Golf Classic hosted by Jacksonville State. The Tigers are a part of a 12 team field that will compete in three rounds over as many days at the RTJ Silver Lakes Golf Course in Glencoe, Ala.
The tournament will begin with 18 holes on Sunday, Sept. 27, and will be followed with 18 holes each on Minday and Tuesday.
TSU will face-off against Alabama State, Lipscomb, Samford, South Alabama, Southern Miss, UAB, Troy, West Alabama and three Ohio Valley Conference opponents, Morehead State, Murray State and the host Gamecocks.
Sophomore Imani Stingley will be the first Tiger on the course as she will tee-off at 8:45 a.m. Freshman Paige Harlin is off next at 8:54 a.m., followed by senior Sarah Needleman at 9:03 a.m., junior Natalie Spicer at 9:12 a.m. and senior Kelly Merkel at 9:21 a.m.
TSU will be paired with Alabama State and West Alabama for the first round and will start on the 10th hole.
