The Tennessee State University women's golf team will head to Kentucky to participate in the Lady Colonels Golf Classic, April 6-7, at the Arlington Golf Club.
The tournament, hosted by Eastern Kentucky, will have a shotgun start on Friday and tee times on Saturday. Arlington, an eighteen-hole golf course, is a multi-purpose complex designed to serve social, recreational, and academic needs of the University Community.
The 6,638-yard, par 72 course will welcome 12 teams, including four from the Ohio Valley Conference. Tennessee State, Austin Peay, Morehead State and host Eastern Kentucky will participate while teams from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green State, Dayton, Ferris State, Ohio, Toledo and Western Kentucky will also be in attendance.
Last time out, Tennessee State finished in eighth place at the New Wave Communications Racer Classic. Jamie Pierce led the way for TSU after registering an 86 in the opening round and posting an 81 in round two. Her total score of 167 was good for a 22nd place finish.
