Women's golf continues action at the Screaming Eagle Golf Classic

Nashville --- The Tennessee State University women's golf team will continue fall action at the 16th annual Screaming Eagle Golf Classic hosted by Sothern Indiana.

The tournament will begin on Sunday, Sept. 18 and continue through Monday at Cambridge Golf Course in Evansville, Ind.

Cambridge Golf Club features an 18-hole golf course on 170 acres of land. The 7,200-yard course is highlighted by multiple tees, target landing areas, in-play lakes, formidable grass mounds, demanding bunkers, and finely sculpted bent grass.

The tournament will feature 18 teams including: Bellarmine, Brescia, Christian Brothers, Drury, Illinois Springfield, Indianapolis, John A. Logan, Kentucky Wesleyan, Lewis, Lindenwood, Maryville, Missouri-St. Louis, Northern Kentucky, Ohio Dominican, Quincy, Rend Lake, Southern Indiana and Tennessee State.

In 2010, the University of Indianapolis claimed the title while Missouri- St. Louis and Drury University rounded out the top three.
