Women's golf round out team standings at CSU Fall Golf Classic

Nashville, Tenn. --- The Tennessee State University women's golf team finished 14th at the CSU Fall Golf Classic hosted by Chicago State University at the Lost Marsh Golf Course.

Tennessee State shot rounds of 460 and 484 for a tournament total of 944. Laura Brown and Bria Norris led the way for TSU. Brown, finished tied for 71st while finishing with a total stroke count of 180 (92-88). Norris registered a 188 (90-98) tying for 81st.

Jatoia Potts (122, 144 - 266) and Shatara Williams (156, 154 - 310) rounded out the scorers for the Tigers.

The tournament winner, Butler, finished four strokes better than second-place IUPUI (626), carding a 622 (310-312). Loyola placed third with a combined stroke count of 633.

The women will return to action on Oct. 10-12 to participate at the Birmingham Southern Shootout in Birmingham, Ala.
