Women's Golf Notches 17th Place Finish at APSU Intercollegiate

Clarksville, Tenn. --- The Tennessee State University women's golf team finished 17th at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate.

The tournament, held at the Clarksville Country club, featured seven OVC schools and a field of 17.

Tennessee State shot rounds of 404 and 402 for a tournament total of 806. Jamie Pierce finished tied for 59th and carded a 172 (85-87). Marie Black registered a 205 (98-107) while finishing 88th and Kateyln Dingeman followed in the 89th spot with a 213 (108-105). Mya Billingsley rounded out the scorers for TSU with a 216 (112-103) and a 90th place finish.

The tournament winner, Morehead State, finished 13 strokes better than second-place Houston Baptist, carding a 620 (316-304). Belmont placed third with a 639.
