Women?s Golf in 17th Place

BRASELTON, Ga. --- After 36 holes of play under overcast skies and blustery cold conditions, the Tennessee State University women’s golf team is in 17th place at the inaugural Larry Nelson Collegiate Invitational. The tournament, at Chateau √Član, is hosted by Kennesaw State University, in partnership with the Gwinnett Sports Commission.

TSU shot 406 in round one and 389 in round two for a total of 795. LaToya Moppins leads the Lady Tigers and is tied for 70th with a 30-over par 172. Danielle Stewart (195), Genesis Fitzgerald (203), and Mary Brigance (225) also participated for TSU.

Tuesday's final rounds will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. for both the men and the women.
