LADY TIGERS GOLF TEAM TIED FOR SIXTHAFTER FIRST ROUND OF MURRAY'S EVENT

MURRAY, Ky. --- The Tennessee State women's golf team stands in sixth place after Monday's opening round of Murray State's Big River Telephone Classic. The Lady Tigers shot an opening round of 369 to be tied with IUPUI at the 36-hole tournament being held on the par-72, 6,017-yard Miller Golf Course near the MSU campus. TSU was led by Jessica Nemnich and Leslie Scarborough who each shot an 84 to be in a tie for 12th place. Other TSU scores were LaToya Moppins 96, Mary Brigance 105, and Morgan Brown 112. Host Murray State shot a 318 to hold a 12-stroke lead over Southeastern Conference Kentucky in the eight-team field.
