LADY TIGER GOLF TEAM SECOND INFOUR-TEAM ALABAMA A&M EVENT
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. --- The first-year Tennessee State women's golf team posted a second-place finish in the Alabama A&M Golf Classic this week, held on the Sunset Landing Course. The Lady Tigers shot a 36-hole total of 758. Arkansas-Pine Bluff won with a 673. Spelman was third with an 847 while Savannah State rounded out the field with a 1,048. Morris Brown did not complete a full team in the women's portion. The TSU contingent was led by freshman Ashley Davis who had rounds of 79 and 89, good enough to finish in a third place tie. Morgan Brown was sixth with a 188 and Amanda Tibbs was in seventh spot with a 190. Tiyana Bullock shot a 212 to finish 11th and Rayya Ghani was 13th with a 219. The Lady Tigers will be off from action until they compete in the Eastern Kentucky Invitational in early April.
