FIRST-YEAR LADY TIGER GOLF TEAM PLAYS IN SECOND TOURNAMENT
MURRAY. Ky. --- The first-year Tennessee State women's golf team played in its second-ever match by participating in the Murray State Lady Racer Classic. While the overall team is making adjustment to its first year of collegiate competition, the team did have its first-ever top 10 finisher. Freshman Ashley Davis finished in an eighth place tie with a 36-hole total of 166. TSU trailed the field with a team total of 879. Host Murray State won the nine-team tournament with a 647, 23 strokes ahead of second place Tennessee Tech. The event was held on the par-72 6,017-yard Miller Golf Course.
