NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State women’s cross country team continued the season on Saturday morning with the Commodore Classic at Percy Warner Park – Vaughn’s Gap Cross Country Course. The Tigerbelles finished 19th overall with 628 points.

Competing on the same course as the Belmont Opener to begin the season, sophomore Rebekah Wynn again had the best 5K performance for the Tigerbelles, clocking in at 23:24.1 for 176th place.

Zion White (26:36.1), Elaina Verges (26:36.7), Grenetria Shell (26:36.7) and Re’Anna Blair (32:15.7) rounded out TSU’s scoring five.

Next up is the Austin Peay Cross Country Festival in Clarksville, Tenn. on Saturday, Sept. 22.
