Legendary Tigerbelle Wyomia Tyus-Tillman Featured in AJC

Nashville, Tenn. - For the second time in consecutive weeks, one of Tennessee State University's legendary and Hall of Fame Tigerbelles has been featured in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Wyomia Tyus-Tillman who is one of TSU's famed Olympians during the 1950s and '60s was featured in the Sunday (5/10) edition of the AJC. The story was written by Darryl Maxie, who interviewed and published a feature article on teammate Edith McGuire-Duvall.

Tyus-Tillman was coached by Ed S. Temple and became the first athlete to win consecutive gold medals in the 100-meter dash.
