Tigerbelles drop Alabama Relays, head to South Carolina's Weems Baskin Relays
Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee State University Tigerbelles will continue their outdoor schedule when they head to Columbia, S.C. to compete in the Weems Baskin Relays hosted by the University of South Carolina on Saturday, March 28th.
The Tigerbelles were originally set to compete in the Alabama Relays but substituted the Weems Baskin Relays earlier this week.
The meet will be held at the Weems O. Baskin Outdoor Track on the campus of the University of South Carolina is scheduled to begin with the men and women's hammer throw at 9 a.m. The first running event on the track will be the women's 3, 000-meter steeplechase slated for a 12 p.m. start.
Teams confirmed to compete in the Weems Baskin Relays - Allen University, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina University, Coker College, Davidson College, Francis Marion University, Kent State University, Morgan State University, Morris College, University of North Carolina-Wilmington and Virginia Tech.
